Essential Outcomes
We are aligned! The Nevada Academic Content Standards (NVACS) identify content that is critical in each grade level. This can be found on the first page (Narrative) of each grade. K-5th grade students need an opportunity to engage with all standards and develop an understanding of all of the standards. When standards are skipped learning gaps are created across the vertical trajectory.

Use the Essential Outcomes when planning or working with your Collaborative Teams. Is there a disagreement on what student understanding looks like in your grade? No worries, just reach out to C&I and we can support those conversations to deepen the shared understanding of the standards across the grade or school.
